Breakfast with the Babies

Here are some snapshots from breakfast a few days ago.
I let the girls play in their oatmeal...

Eliza loves to eat her fingers.

Eliza also loves oatmeal.

Naomi was not having a good morning...

The only thing that made Naomi happy was eating her bib.
No worries - she took a nap and turned back into her usual bouncy self.

The Hexagon

Due to the the babies recent crawling escapades, David and I decided that it was finally time to put up baby gates. Gramma Dot had these interlocking gates that form a playpen-style baby area. David has taken to calling it the "Hexagon" just like the Octagon for UFC, because the babies use it as their own private wrestling arena.

Naomi is really into biting her lips right now.

Eliza is really into eating everything, including her crib.


Don't worry - she likes it.

And so the wrestling begins - Naomi had Eliza nearly pinned when...

Eliza flipped Naomi over and took her down.

Just for Fun

Here are some pics from tonight when I got home from work.

First, I gave Naomi a kiss.

But... Naomi gave me this look,"oh mom!"


Then, I tried to make Eliza smile.


But, she didn't smile - she just continued to eat her hand.
