Here, I am trying to capture the
Sesame Street phenomenon. The girls play all day and night without playing a bit of attention to the television. We can watch whatever we want, and they don't care about it at all. But when
Sesame Street comes on... the girls literally freeze in place and stare at the television for the duration of the program. I'm not kidding. All they have to hear is the sponsors' commercials at the beginning of the show, and they are gone. They laugh out loud at any Muppet character, and sometimes they dance along to the songs.
